What could be described as a mysterious fire has engulfed the fuel drop of the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport on Wednesday.
The fire, which started around 7.45am Wednesday, forced residents of the area to flee their homes.
Men of the air port fire service have, however, been deployed to quench the fire that gutted the fuel drop.
The airport’s fuel drop is located within the striking distance of domestic arrival hall adjacent vast space that housed corner shops.
The airport’s officials have refused to comment on the incident as concerted effort are being sustained to contained the fire.
